Details:
Contract 12 mos. - potential for extended term Medical, dental, and vision plan with United Healthcare Robust 401K Potential for per diem and overtime Sick pay, and holiday pay for those who qualify
Liaison Engineer:
Primarily responsible for resolving a wide range of difficult technical problems including generating/writing/disposition repairs for primary and secondary metallic and composite aircraft structure, standard electrical systems, and mechanical systems. Requires complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field and general knowledge of other related disciplines, working knowledge of aerospace fasteners and various aluminum, steel, titanium alloy and composite material properties. Ability to perform basic structural analysis and interface with the stress department as required to substantiate repair dispositions. Skill and ability to collect, organize, synthesize and analyze data, summarize findings, develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources with clients, customers and/or suppliers. Willing to work on a wide variety of problems, questions and issues generated by internal and external customers. Extensive experience with Boeing ICA documents and manuals. Assist in root cause corrective action. Coordinate with FAA Designated Engineering Representatives as required to document compliance to applicable federal regulations
This position is expected to be 100% remote.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
A successful candidate will resolve issues and questions that fully satisfy multiple customers within challenging time limitations and changing priorities. Experienced in technical writing. Good organizational skills are important (prioritizing multiple tasks and able to provide detailed status on work in progress, for example). Knowledge of repair concepts including repair station processes, component repair concepts, procedures, and warranty processes and contractual agreements. Works under limited supervision/direction Experienced in Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint
Education/Experience:
Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Engineering from an accredited institution. 5 years minimum related experience. Boeing/MRO experience a plus.
