Manufacturing & Quality Engineer- Senior

Description:
A Quality Engineer job is currently available at Belcan in Lynn, MA. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have a strong shop floor and quality engineering background. You will be working within the Quality Engineering Department processing MRBs and non-conformances, onsite at our large aviation customer.

Quality Engineer job duties:
? Review issued 'Change in Design' (CID) documents to determine if the part is now conforming as a result of a CID Inventory
? Enter Data into the system in a manner that will allow the MRB (Material Review Board) to make an MRB disposition decision
? Provide tracking information for non-conforming parts.
? Track MRBs through the process with MRB chair, design and DCMA.

Qualifications:
? Three or more years of shop floor quality engineering experience, ideally within an aerospace production setting
? Ability to read blueprints and routers
? GD&T proficiency
? Knowledge in quality engineering, first article inspections/reviews and MRB
? Legal authorization to work in the US required

Desired skills:
? Mechanical Engineering Degree
? Manufacturing Engineering Technology Degree
? CNC programming skills
