Launch Integration Engineer

Description:
Launch Integration Engineer--Orbital Test Vehicle (OTV) Project

Needs experience in spacecraft to Launch Vehicle integration and test, including associated flight and ground hardware, software, procedures and facilities to join our team in support of a top defense program at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.



Key Duties:

  • Defining, coordinating, documenting, and verifying functionally diverse complex internal and external physical, functional, and operational requirements and associated interfaces.

  • Developing, coordinating, and documenting CONOPS involving multiple diverse internal and external stakeholders, flight hardware, ground support equipment, and facilities.

  • Supporting assessment and collaborative resolution of complex cross-functional technical issues amongst multiple diverse stakeholders.

  • Facilitating recurring meetings, technical exchanges, and reviews involving multiple internal and external organizations across multiple engineering disciplines.

  • Driving results through the development, implementation, and maintenance of rigorous processes, tools, schedules, and metrics.

  • Maintaining current data and providing status on technical, schedule, and cost performance and issues.


Required Skills, Experience, & Education:


  • Must possess active Top Secret (SSBI) security clearance.

  • Due to facility security requirements, only US Citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.

  • Experience writing Interface Control Documents, defining and scripting process flows, audit and stage support equipment, support launch campaign execution, etc.

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 or more years of directly-related experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years of directly-related experience, or a PhD in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
