Sr. Electrical Subsystem Engineer

Description:
• Develop electrical systems design and architecture
• Perform electrical systems installation and integration activities across the program IPTs
• Provide subject matter expert level technical guidance and leadership for electrical systems
• Perform electrical loads analysis and documentation
• Define requirements for the electrical systems to ensure compliance with regulations and customer requirements
• Provide validation and verification of electrical systems requirements
• Provide electrical systems support for ground and flight tests for both development and certification
• Interface directly with electrical systems suppliers to ensure requirements are met
• Support the various sub-systems and structures IPTs with their development and certification



We're looking for someone who has:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering area, with a Master’s degree in a technical and/or management specialty preferred
• 10+ years of deep, hands-on experience in electrical systems development, design and testing in Military, Commercial and/or business jet aircraft
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience leading technical resources and teams, both internally and externally, as well as both on-site and off-site
• In-depth and current knowledge of Part 25 regulatory requirements
• Experience and expertise in the development of commercial and/or high-end business jets strongly desired
• Recent relevant experience in developing electrical systems from concept through certification strongly desired
• Must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding, knowledge and ability to define requirements, generate architecture and achieve compliance
• Proven problem-solving skills across multi-disciplinary skill sets
• Experience with CATIA V5 and Teamcenter PLM desired
