Lines Design Engineer

Description:
Position Responsibilities:
• Produce and control quality shape definitions for all phases of aircraft design and production. This includes Engineering Master Shapes, Engineering Part Models, Aircraft Master Geometry and Lines Drawings. Shapes are created using conical surface development practices.
• Assist in researching pertinent data and developing solutions for the project or assignment.
• Coordinate with other engineering, manufacturing or specialty personnel to resolve problems
• Specific tasks include developing new design solutions for moderate to high complexity problems based on requirements; supporting the development of product changes and improvement

Educational requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is required.
• Master’s Degree is preferred.

Position Requirements:

• PC proficiency in CATIA, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is preferred
• Previous experience in Aircraft Lines Design is preferred
• Must have the ability to work effectively within a team
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills are required
• Must have the ability to prioritize a variety of assignments
