Summary:
We are seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist (1st Shift) to join our facility in Chino, CA (Los Angeles area).
Responsibilities:
Responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathe machines (setup and operating Haas milling machines a plus). Complete setup and machining operations from blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions. Perform all types of drilling, tapping, and lathing operations. Use of complex, tight tolerance parts, and various materials. Use inspection equipment and visual methods to monitor the conformance of products to customer requirements and internal inspection standards. Report all non-conformances to team lead. Ability to adapt/improvise tooling when standard tooling is not available. Skilled at using precision hand tools, micrometers, indicators, and gauges to ensure parts are set-up and machined to meet blueprint requirements.
Desired Skills:
High school diploma or equivalency certificate. 5+ years of experience setting up and operating lathe and/or mill CNC machines.
