Avionics Engineer

Description:
****MUST have an Active Secret Clearance or to have had one within the last 2 years****

Job Description:
1. Supports development, design, integration and test function of Avionics/flight control systems, including electronics, SW, hydraulics, etc.
2. Analyzes product/system designs, applying knowledge of technology and materials to ensure a design that considers functionality, appearance, FAA compliance, availability, safety and cost.

Basic Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in a related technical field
2. Experience with mission systems/avionics

Desired Skills:
1. Knowledge of integrated CNI systems (e.g., F-35 or F-22), INS, and/or GPS concepts, operations, implementation, aircraft integration, and usage.
2. Knowledge of CNI functions (voice radios, data links, Link 16, TACAN, IFF, crypto).
3. Experience in RF and/or CNI systems, Integration & Test, flight test, data analysis.
4. Prior supplier management experiences a plus.
5. Familiarity with JSF toolsets: SIMS & PDM.
6. Current F-35 program experience and clearances.
7. Must be able to acquire a SAR clearance.
8. CNI, Radar, EW, or related avionics functions technology, and product development experience.
9. Must be able to travel a moderate amount domestically to subcontractor and US government facilities in support of subsystem development and test.

1. Level 2: BS+4-8 YRS or MS+2-6 YRS
