Industrial Engineering Manager

Description:
Required:
• Engineering Degree
• Industrial Engineering background
• Either a Green Belt, or Black Belt in Lean/Six Sigma Practices
• Experience with “cost out”, process improvement, lean processes, analytical background.
• Must have experience managing/leading groups of 8+ Industrial Engineers.
• Must have an aerospace background
• Will consider someone who has lead experience from larger companies leading groups of 8 plus engineers, but would prefer someone with management experience.


Job Description
Summary Statement: Plans, directs and coordinates activities of an industrial engineering department in the utilization of facilities, equipment, materials and personnel to improve efficiency of operations relative to the production of components, parts, systems and subsystems of operational aircraft. Possesses extensive knowledge of department processes and manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs to ensure that project and/or department milestones and goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
