*MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT*
**NO RELOCATION COMPENSATION / NO PER DIEM SPLIT**

Description:
* Report to a design lead
* Create detailed part and assembly definition drawings and models FTA's using Catia V5
* Create associated parts list supporting part definition
* Must be fluent with SMARTEAM PDM.
* Support drawing release schedule.
* Revise/maintain layouts as required under the direction of a senior designer using Catia V5
o Hydraulic actuators
o Oleo-Pneumatic shock struts (single and dual stage)
o Landing gear assemblies
o System routings (electrical and hydraulic)
* Revise detailed parts in support of customer change requests using Catia V5
* Develop and implement changes that will improve installation of systems routings using Catia V5
* Assist with driving improvements and harmonizing Acceptance Test Procedures using MS Word/MS Excel
* Drive improvements into daily activities, striving for right the first time and on time all the time (LEAN principles)
* Utilize analytical skills to support proposed design changes
* Kinematics analysis using Catia V5
o Preliminary structures evaluation
o Understand impact on performance
o Weight impact
o Tolerance stack-up evaluation
o Prepare material for and attend design reviews
