MRB Avionics Manufacturing Engineer

Description:
An MRB Avionics Engineer job is currently available at Belcan. This is contract opportunity with benefits in Tehachapi, CA. To be considered for this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of engineering experience or an equivalent degree and experience combination.

MRB Avionics Engineer job duties:
Requirements
* B.S. degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or similar engineering discipline is required
* At least 5 years of relevant industry experience
* Understanding of MRB requirements & procedures
* Provide avionics production support and drawing redlines
* Engineer to provide support to technicians on harness assembly, harness installation, and harness terminations on-ship. Provide guidance and redlines if required.
* Experience with wire harness design and install drawings is a plus.
* Experience with flight test instrumentation (strain gauges specifically) is a plus.
* Knowledge of air vehicle systems, systems integration, engineering design, the drawing release process, and subsystems/component qualification
* Working knowledge and experience integrating various mechanical systems into a composite aircraft.
* Review and provide final engineering technical disposition of non-conformance notifications
* Participate in product Corrective Action Board (CAR) reviews
* Willingness to support weekend shift operations


Responsibilities
* Inspect avionics production work such as wire harness assembly and instrumentation
* Performs other duties as assigned
* May require 2nd, 3rd, or 4th shift work
