Sr. Quality Engineer

Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer for an opening in Camden, AR

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Utilizing the AR APQP Command Media and AS9145 APQP methods the Quality Engineer will define and validate the process for manufacture of client products.
-Validating work instructions to the contract requirements, Technical Data Package and drawing.
-Assure processes have sufficient controls and oversight to manufacture with repeatability without creating nonconforming conditions.
-Utilize data to identify areas of concerns and develop tracking metrics to ensure identified fixes are effective.
-Recommends and proposes changes in process


REQUIREMENTS:
Extensive Experience in the use and application of DFMEA/PFMEA concepts and practices -Customer contract review and interpretation -Configuration Auditing -Process Audits/Assessments -Engineering definition review and interpretation -Work instruction development -Control Plan Development -First Article Inspection Plan and Report development IAW AS-9102
-AS9145 preferred
-Aerospace and Defense background
Ability to work in cross functional teams with Engineering, manufacturing and customer representatives

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and 5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
