Electrical Group Lead

Description:
An Electronic and Electrical Group Leader job opportunity in Windsor, CT is currently available through Belcan. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Remote work will be considered for exceptional candidates. You will need to have a minimum of five (5) years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. The Electrical Group Leader will be responsible for managing a growing, multi-location electrical group of 20+ engineers. Your group will be creating high technology electronic and electrical designs for aeronautic, space, defense, renewable energy, autonomous operation, and general industry clients. You should have a strong background in systems level thinking with the ability to effectively lead and manage a diverse team. Designs the team provide range from multi-level printed circuit boards with FPGA's and SOC's to electrical balance of plant designs for a 2MW fuel cell.
 
Electrical Group Leader job duties:
· Provide organizational and technical leadership to a diverse team of employees.
· Insure client's objectives are met while maintaining scope, schedule and budget
· Create a collaborative and highly-capable team with a culture of openness, integrity and compliance
· Lead technical proposal preparations and participate as a subject matter expert in internal design and customer reviews.
                
Qualifications:
· BS degree in Electrical Engineering
· Strong electronics/electrical background
· Self-motivated, adaptable, highly organized, and possess excellent communication abilities
· Some experience managing large projects or programs
· Experience working directly with customers to develop products or services or to provide technical support
· Ability to travel for occasional travel as needed
· Due to the nature of the work performed, US Citizenship is a requirement
 
Desired but not required skills:
· Experience with Design Assurance Level A for electronic and electrical design in the aeronautic, space, defense industries
