Job Responsibilities:
Serves as a Development Lead for multifaceted reengineering of systems to support business operations.
Designs develop and manage the implementation of cloud-based and SOA based Integrated Booking System framework, methodology, and tools to ensure business continuity of operations across a large, multi-division, decentralized organization.
Supports multi-language, multi-platform, and multi-operating system operations and utilizes electronic commerce and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) applications.
Recognizes and recommends new or emerging technology or software to satisfy functional requirements and processes.
Provides highly technical and/or specialized guidance concerning automation solutions to complex information processing problems related to the subject field.
Provides customer support using enterprise solutions software to integrate business areas, consistent with today’s technology in order to operate in an open systems environment and client service architectures.
Performs high-level, day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for complex database management systems workstations and servers on multiple operating systems. Implements and maintains smooth operation and physical design of databases.
Coordinates direct and performs complex database software installations and upgrades to operating systems and related database software packages.
Schedules installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures.
Continually monitors and tunes multiple database systems and databases to achieve optimum performance levels.
Ensures database data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate solutions of varying complexities.
Ensures database recoverability by developing and implementing a schedule of database backups and archive operations.
Plans and implements the modernization of database implementations.
Develops, implements, and promotes standard operating procedures and schedules.
Conducts audits of databases to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
Develops and implements new standards, policies, and procedures.

Basic Hiring Criteria:
Bachelor's and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; Ph.D. and 0 years related experience.
Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field.
General knowledge of other related disciplines.
Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives.
Work is reviewed by management to measure whether objectives have been met.
Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
