Test Engineer / Focal Plane Arrays

Description:
*This is a full time, 9-12 month contract position located in Santa Barbara, CA*



We are hiring for a contract missile guidance system tester that who will testing high resolution infrared (IR) Focal Point Arrays (FPA) for validation and verification (V&V) purposes. Candidate may be working on calibration techniques determining current leakage, crosscheck testing schemes, efficiently testing, test socket chips, as well as performing analysis on collected data.



Daily duties may include writing / modify test codes, use of computer frame grabbers, test plans and electronics, troubleshooting electronic test boards and conducting electronic design



Required:

*Experience testing Focal Plane Arrays or similar testing (IC Chip testing, etc.).

*1-3 years’ experience using the MATLAB technical software tool.

*This is a M-Th position, four 10 hour days per week.

*Overtime is available for this position, ask during interview how many hours are available.



Plus:

*Experience with photovoltaic detectors, InSb P-N junction devices, CMOS readout circuits

*Experience leading teams.
