CAD Drafter (Facilities Management)

Description:
The candidate will work on CAD Services & FM Interact Setup. FM Interact is a software platform that will help manage all 2.1 million square feet of space on the Windsor Locks campus. The software has to be configured to the site and requires initial setup by creating and entering CAD drawings, classifying the space type, and assigning occupant information. FM Interact training will be provided as needed.

Under the direction of the Senior CAD drafter and FM Interact System Administrator, this resource will:
• Work within the software platform to classify space type (office, support, factory, etc.)
• Assign occupants to workstations
• Provide database management
• Develop CAD drawings - FM Interact system setup.

SOLID BACKGROUND FROM TRADE SCHOOL OR ASSOCIATES DEGREE STRONGLY PREFERRED

Resources must be fluent in general computer applications and have a CAD skill set. Technical certification from a CAD program acceptable in lieu of an Associate degree.
