We are seeking experienced Project Engineers (better known as PIMs internally; Program Integration Manager) to join our team and make an immediate impact on urgent and long-term development, production and fleet support issues within the Puget Sound region of Washington. Positions will be based in either Everett or Renton, WA.

Primary Responsibilities:
Be an integral part of supporting all CA models in-service, in-production and under development, including programs such as 747, 767, 777, 787, 737 MAX, 777X, and the next generation of commercial airplanes
Lead cross-functional teams to evaluate, coordinate, implement and ensure engineering design and retrofit changes meet operational and functional requirements in support of customer expectations and overall program objectives
Lead cross-functional technical integration in support of resolving complex issues to help deliver airplanes, return airplanes into service, resolve supply chain issues, mitigate risks, realize opportunities, etc...

Lead detailed investigations to ensure system integration, compliance with requirements and to preclude safety issues
Lead and integrate the enhancement of business and enterprise tools and/or processes to enable efficient performance of engineering tasks
Communicate routinely with Internal and External Customers (peers, stakeholders, senior and executive leadership)
Communicate frequently with Regulators and/or Suppliers
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (ABET accreditation or equivalent)
15+ years' experience performing complex engineering or integration work
10+ years' experience in leading and/or managing complex projects
Export Control Requirement: This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
Travel: The applicant must be able to support domestic or international travel to support our customers as required, although this is not typical
Preferred Qualification (Desired Skills / Experience):
10+ years of experience with Transport, 7-Series and/or McDonnell Douglas Aircraft is preferred
7+ years of experience with US and/or foreign aircraft certification/regulatory processes is preferred
Prior experience in an engineering integration role
Commercial aircraft design and/or analysis experience within Airframe, Flight Sciences, Interiors, Propulsion, or Systems Experience with certification, working with FAA regulations, and Regulatory Administration
Experience with commercial or military aircraft maintenance is preferred
Project Management exposure / experience (e.g., Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI/PMI 99-001-2008) is preferred
Quick Learner: ability to quickly understand complex technical concepts across multiple disciplines
Problem Solver: ability to analyze and organize complex technical problems
Communicator: ability to translate complex issues into cohesive, actionable components, with ability for individual contributor and executive communication
Experience with leading major design changes through multiple phases of product and certification lifecycle
Ability to work out of comfort zone, where process definition does not exist or is unclear
Ability to take ownership/initiative, pull teams together, establish battle rhythm, and remove roadblocks
Additional Skills:
Skills: | Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. |
