JOB TITLE: Low-Level Software Engineer - Military Avionics

REMOTE WORK OPTIONS AVAILABLE!

ABOUT THE JOB:
As a software engineer on this team, you will perform full life cycle software development and V&V activities associated with stores management and weapons delivery systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in DO-178 (or military equivalent) full life cycle software engineering development.
- Experience developing software for DAL B and DAL C critical systems.
- Experience developing software in RTOS environments.
- Proficient in C language software development.
- Proficient in Ada language software development.
- Experience developing Low-level software including device drivers and board support packages (BSP).
- Familiarity with MIL-STD-1553.
- Familiarity with Xilinx ARM processors.
- Familiarity with Xilinx toolsets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and takes initiative to get things done.
- Good positive interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with remote team members.

PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Familiarity with Wind River VxWorks.
- Stores Management and/or Weapons Delivery product experience.
