This is a unique opportunity to utilize your proven process improvement, project management, and leadership skills. You will help shape how the Program Management Office operates. The Operational Excellence Manager will report to the Sr. Director of Program and Business Operations with the mission to establish world-class standards, processes, and a culture of continuous improvement in an administrative environment. You are the right applicant if you get excited by process mapping, standard work, brainstorming, connecting with people from individual contributor to C-level, and working relentlessly to drive change.
Responsibilities:
    Help create a roadmap of the process improvement journey in an administrative environment. Project manage improvement activities, track progress, measure success, audit processes to reinforce compliance. Facilitate cross-functional discussions focused on identifying areas for improvement and defining future state. Document new or update existing processes, create standard work, assist with the roll out. Be able to apply continuous improvement and/or lean methodology to an administrative environment and explain basic lean/continuous improvement principles in simple terms, as needed. Be a change agent whose enthusiasm about continuous improvement is contagious

Desired Skills:

    Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience, preferably in an aerospace and/or continuous improvement environment. Six Sigma Green Belt or 5 years of demonstrated experience improving processes. Successful track record improving processes in an administrative environment. Demonstrated experience applying continuous improvement and/or lean methodology to an administrative environment. Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams on process and/or value stream mapping, developing and implementing standard work. Experience leading by influence. Strong Project Management skills. Demonstrated ability to think creatively, deal with ambiguity, and manage changing priorities. Results oriented. Can work independently with a high degree of self-motivation, enthusiasm, and curiosity. Effective communicator, shop to C-level, ability to facilitate a brainstorming session and lead a team to a decision or consensus. Experience developing and delivering presentations and training. Strong in PowerPoint, Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
    Project Management experience and/or PMP. Working knowledge of EVMS. Lean Expert certified. Knowledge of aircraft design and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of Phase Gate Review process.
