Job Description: *****Flexibility to work primarily at our Manassas, VA or Cambridge, MA sites with partial remote work***** Position Overview: The candidate for this position will support product design to incorporate new technology and verify structural integrity of various crewed and uncrewed aerial vehicles across commercial and military aircraft, rotorcraft, and spacecraft. Will employ efficient integration of both composite and metallic constructions. Solve complex structural problems by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the development lifecycle. A primary responsibility for entry level analysts is to learn and apply stress analysis methods and approaches from experienced stress analysts on a wide variety of projects. There will be opportunities for hands-on experience with manufacturing, assembly, and testing while also engaging other engineering disciplines. Specific Responsibilities: Perform structural sizing and structural integrity evaluations using agreed analysis methods Write technical reports that are accurate, clear, and comprehensive to be peer reviewed by other analysts Be proactive in learning new skills, taking on new assignments, learning analysis methods and procedures |
