Salesforce Business Analyst / Administrator
Downers Grove / Lisle, IL area
12 + months CONTRACT - with possible extension
Hours - Weekdays 8 am to 5 pm

As a Salesforce Analyst, you will deliver enterprise cloud technology solutions across multiple business units. You will also serve as the primary go-between for SF users and technical team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include work intake analysis, business requirements, functional design, testing, system configuration, user training, and deployment communications for Salesforce projects and enhancements.

DUTIES:

• Establish strong partnerships with business areas, leveraging Salesforce functionality to increase Sales, Marketing, Dealer network, and Service capabilities across the enterprise
• Provide input to the strategic planning process for the Salesforce platform
• Serve as a functional lead on Salesforce projects
• Lead discovery and requirements gathering sessions. Recommend alternate approaches
• Document business requirements and user stories
• Map requirements to out-of-box functionality within SalesForce
• Support technical staff during development to ensure that solutions will meet the business requirements
• Support our Agile software development methodology and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Configure minor Salesforce functionality to meet business requirements
• Create test cases and test scripts; conduct functional testing and coordinate User Acceptance Testing, accurately documenting and prioritizing defects and re-testing resolved issues
• Create training materials, job aids, and system deployment communications; Conduct stakeholder training

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
• BSCS or IT and 3 years experience in IT with strong Salesforce experience
OR
• BS Degree in another technical discipline, 5 years IT experience with strong Salesforce experience
SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED (KEY):
• REQUIRED: Hands on experience configuring Salesforce, including workflows, validation rules, and security controls
