HOT - Thermal Analysis Engineer

Description:
Thermal Analysis Engineer:

· Senior position whose job responsibilities would include developing and overseeing a plan for thermal analysis and design of systems on an advanced tilt-rotor.
· Familiarity with industry tools such as StarCCM+ and RadTherm is required.
· The primary task will be to mentor and direct engineers in the steps to design and analyze high thermal load areas of the airframe.

Position Responsibilities:
· Guide development of the software/analysis capabilities required.
· Mentor and direct a less experienced engineer.
· Oversee analysis of airframe compartments for thermal load.
· Develop options and designs to meet thermal requirements.
· Will perform other duties as required.

Educational requirements:

· M.S. Mechanical Engineering, Ph.D. preferred.

Position Requirements:

· 20+ years of thermal analysis and design experience.
· Must possess a strong analytical skillset.
· Must be able to mentor and direct less experienced engineers.
