Airframe Process Engineer

Description:
The Airframe Process Engineer is required for 2nd, or possible split shift (late 1st to 2nd, flexible hours ) to complete tasks as related to aerostructures in support of Black Hawk major assembly build, tooling, liaison, and planning as well as support and report to the Process Lead Engineer assigned to existing Black Hawk programs.

Primary responsibilities include:

Manufacturing Engineering support of Black Hawk build and designs by providing producibility review, work instruction planning, developing tooling and manufacturing plans, and manufacturing implementation and support of airframe installation and modifications.
Review, sign off, create, and implement PCAS for EC changes, issue SAP notifications to create new tooling, and perform process validations.
Proactively coordinate with Design Engineering and other disciplines and actively engage in continuous quality improvement through the use of other ACE tools.
Must be flexible and highly motivated with a proven technical ability and business judgment with the ability to work on multiple programs.
Requirements:

Must be highly motivated and flexible with proven technical abilities and business judgment.
Must have good communication skills.
5+ years of Airframe Process Engineering required.
Must be proficient in all processes associated with Airframe Process Engineering.
Proficiency in Solumina, Matrix, Microsoft Programs, CATIA, CADRA, and SAP is mandatory.
Must be flexible in regards to work schedule and willing to support weekends.

Education:

BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace or Manufacturing Engineering required

***There is a potential for overtime between 5 and 10 hours dependent upon Operations scheduling and applicants experience.
