Aluminium alloy melting and casting process expert - Aerospace - China.

Our Client based in China, is seeking assistance in Aluminium Alloy Melting and Casting processes. They require an expert with the following experience to work on the production of Aluminium for the Aerospace Industry:

Job Role Deliverables:

Advise on the procurement and control of aviation raw materials.
Carding the 2/7 series aviation aluminium alloy slab melting, refining, degassing, adding thin wire, casting and other processes to optimize the process.
Solve the problem of low yield of 2/7 series aviation aluminium alloy slab casting.
Solve the problems of subcutaneous cracks, coarse grains, looseness, pores, etc. of 2/7 series aviation aluminium alloy flat ingots.
Reduce the macro-segregation of 2/7 series aviation aluminium alloy flat ingots.
Formulate the quality evaluation method of 2/7 series aviation aluminium alloy flat ingot.
Professional knowledge training for 2/7 series aviation aluminium alloy flat ingot production and process personnel.
Training on the certification process for 2/7 series aerospace aluminium alloy flat ingots.

Candidates should have strong experience of Aluminium Casting process related to aerospace products and be degree qualified. Strong understanding of materials specifically aluminium.

This role is offered on a contract basis and will require some time to be spent onsite with our client in China. It can be an interesting opportunity for candidates that have the relevant skills and experience to deliver upon the tasks detailed. Candidates must be prepared to spend a proportion of their time living and working in China, approximately 6 months.
