Aviation aluminium alloy sheet product development expert - China.

Duties and deliverables:

Provide professional knowledge training on chemical composition design of 2/7 series aviation aluminium alloy sheet.
Sort out the production processes of homogeneous, hot-rolled, cold-rolled, and continuous withdrawal line of Client's 2/7 series aviation aluminium alloy sheet, and put forward optimization suggestions.
Work with client's product engineers, process engineers and production personnel to solve the surface quality problems of 2/7 series aviation aluminium alloy sheets.
Sort out the cladding process of Client's 2/7 series aviation aluminium alloy clad aluminium sheet, put forward optimization suggestions, and solve the problems of hot rolling cladding and surface quality.
Professional knowledge training for 2/7 series aviation aluminium alloy sheet technicians.
Training on the certification process of 2/7 series aviation aluminium alloy sheet.
Guidance is given for the process quality control of 2/7 series aviation aluminium alloy sheets.
Work on site for one year to complete the above work, focusing on the product development of 2 024 - T 3 -pack aluminium sheet, so that the product performance and surface quality meet the requirements of the aviation standard AMS-QQ-A- 250/5.

Candidates should have strong experience of Aluminium sheet metal processes related to aerospace products and be degree qualified. Strong understanding of materials specifically aluminium.

This role is offered on a contract basis and will require some time to be spent onsite with our client in China. It can be an interesting opportunity for candidates that have the relevant skills and experience to deliver upon the tasks detailed. Candidates must be prepared to spend a proportion of their time living and working in China, approximately 1 year.
