Summary:
Resolves complex issues on critical programs related to architectural approaches, requirements, specifications and design Leads technical aspect of proposal preparation Identifies critical performance measures and develops processes for computing them Leads activities in support of Supplier Management with make/buy recommendations and other technical services Coordinates engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product Develops new concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements Recommends and manages technology insertion. Works under consultative direction
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline Greater than 10 years experience in aviation or aerospace industry Demonstrated proficiency designing and testing electrical and/or avionics systems Ability to work independently and take ownership of specific development tasks
Desired Skills - should have 2 or more of these:
Knowledge of the Capital toolset Requirements development experience Part 23 and/or Part 25 industry experience Experience designing and/or testing avionics systems Aircraft power systems design and analyses Electrical grounding and bonding design for aircraft D0-160 DO-178, DO-254, ARP 4761 ARP4754, MIL-HDBK -516 MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704
