LOCATION: Everett, WA (100% Onsite)

**Work Location: EVERETT, WA initially starting in Tukwila, WA**

    Contract 12 mos. - potential for extended term o 2nd shift: 2:30 PM
    o 3rd shift: 10:30 PM overnight

    Northwest Non-Destructive Evaluation and Measurement Systems is an Engineering Team responsible for supporting design, development, production programs, and In-Service in Puget Sound. The team provides certification and qualification services across the value stream for NDE and Measurement. The team works on commercial and defense aircraft including: 737, 747, 757, 767, 777, 787, KC-46, B1B, and P-8 as well as on development programs such as SLS, CST-100, 777X, and MQ-25. The team also conducts research and development with internal stakeholders and external customers. This team spans the entire product life cycle from research and development to active airframe support Performs complex analysis and evaluation of parts, materials, processes, technology or equipment through research and testing to ensure safety, reliability and adherence to requirements and specifications. Leads, coordinates and conducts complex analysis of failed parts and processes to reduce or eliminate future failures. Generates test plans, identifies and categorizes failure, determines root cause and documents results and recommendations. Leads the proposal, development and validation of revisions to procedures and specifications. Determines suitability of parts, materials and processes and coordinates resolution of complex issues with suppliers and customers. Supports continuous improvement of products and processes by leading the design, development, fabrication, testing, evaluation and implementation of new concepts and technology. Provides technical expertise, application knowledge and performance history to internal and external customers. Supports the training and development of others. The Digital Radiography Center supports diverse non-destructive evaluation and measurement technology applications for commercial and defense products produced or supported by the Company. There is an opportunity to experience different business unit needs and support a diverse selection of commercial and defense aircraft in different phases of their production lifecycle. By working on this team an individual is able to impact programs across the enterprise and have an opportunity to grow a broad network across all of Company. Will need to be able to climb on scaffolding and move equipment. Lift up to 50 pounds. Use fall protection equipment. Use radiographic equipment.

Desired Skills:

    AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experienced in NDE Techniques and NDE equipment. Radiographic Testing Digital experience is required. Experience/certification in Eddy Current, Ultrasonic, Thermographic, and other testing methods is preferred. Understanding of basic analysis techniques to determine performance or reasons for failures of tools, materials, parts or processes. Certified NAS410-compliant (or equivalent) Level 2 in Radiographic Testing - Digital required. Certifications in other methods preferred. Excellent communication skills, work in multidisciplinary teams, a strong desire to work with technical and non-technical audiences, and be a self-starter. Excellent time management skills to manage several simultaneous projects effectively and across various geographical locations.
Candidates will Need to provide their OJT training records and classroom records, any prior certification records.
