Description:

This is a very exciting opportunity to work with one of the world's largest aerospace companies! The contracts are regularly extended, and direct opportunities are often available.

KEY SKILLS:

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
    Advanced education degree (e.g. Associate)
    5 or more years of experience with production systems in a manufacturing or production capacity
    Experienced in Production project creation and support
    Experience building teams to support projects (other skills: hiring decisions, manpower planning)
    Knowledge of Production Engineering processes and process improvement Manages projects using approved project management techniques Prior boeing exp Prior mfg engineering exp Experience with managing project teams Planning exp

Primary Responsibilities:
Prepares and monitors plan of action and schedule to improve quality, reduce cost and maximize efficiency throughout the product lifecycle.
Analyzes data to make recommendations on projects requiring Production engineering practices.
Manages projects using approved project management techniques.
Coordinates improvements in engineering designs, and manufacturing processes.
Creates or approves supporting processes and related documentation.
Assists with consultation and training on procedures and processes related to engineering and production.
Performs technical and administrative activities to meet regulatory, production and process requirements.
Communicates with internal/external stakeholders to ensure products and services compliance.
Works under general direction.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Experienced in Production project creation and support

Experience working with cross functional stakeholders to gain approvals
Knowledge of Production Engineering processes
Comfortable working independently and with general direction

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years' related work experience, 8 years' related work experience, etc.)
