Job Description: Position Responsibilities
Conducts supplier audits, complex analysis to evaluate supplier financial books of record in order to identify how suppliers have generated their rates and factors.
Conduct market trend data and parametric models.
Prepares strategies and leads price negotiations with supplier.
Conduct research, preparation, data validity, review, approval and reconciliation of complex financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with FAR, GAAP and CAS.
Performs risk and opportunity analysis. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and regulatory agency requirements
Basic Required Qualification:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or Accounting
5+ years of experience managing/supporting suppliers (i.e. analyzing cost and schedule, managing baselines)
5+ years of experience performing financial reporting accounting (ex: account variance analysis, reconciliation, and journal entries, etc.)
5+ years of experience performing estimates or financial analysis
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in Procurement Financial Analysis
Typical Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree and typical 5 years or more related work experience. Masters degree
and typical 4 or more years related experience or an equivalent combination of education
and experience. An accounting degree is preferred or CPA.
Experience with government contracting required. They need to be versed in FAR and GAAP.
Must Reside in CA, anywhere within 50 miles of LA or Orange County
Min 5+ years of experience
Hybrid and the ability to travel to various suppliers throughout the CA region and domestically
Must understand government and cost accounting. Looking for someone to hit the ground working, with no training needed. Long term and possible contract to hire
