7 Stress Engineers - Liaison Repair Experience Required

7 Liaison Stress Engineers Needed
US PERSONS REQUIRED
Must haves:
• BS degree
• MRO/Repair background
• Airframe experience, specifically commercial and military (F-18 preferred) wings, structural components and thrust reversers.
Airframe Structural Analysis experience
Extensive Classical Analysis background required.
*NO FEA performed on this job - All classical Analysis methods.
Airframe analysis is in support of maintenance and repair of in-service aircraft parts and structures.
Must have good communication skills and must have ability to communicate and present findings to technical and non-technical people.
Engineer will identify the damage to the airframe or component that is outside of the aircraft manual and will need to use classical analysis methods to create a repair concept that will restore the airframe load path. Structures will be both composite and metallic.
MRB background a plus, but not mandatory.
*Candidates who can turn a wrench will fit well, even if it is working on their own cars OR a stress engineer who used to be an A&P mechanic, for example.
