Lead Application Developer

Description:
A Lead Application Developer position is currently available at Belcan in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will be able to wear multiple hats and drive the roadmap strategy while also being hands on with application development. Candidate must have a passion to build and run multiple applications along with ability to look for solutions outside the box. This position is direct hire. To be considered for this role, you will need 10+ years' experience as an application developer and 3+ years of experience leading development teams.

Description of position's duties:
· ASP.NET C# and Microsoft SQL Server database development
· Microsoft Power Platform development, management and support i.e. Power App, Power Automate, Power BI
· Design, development, implementation and operation of information technology products, services, and support
· Project management leading a small team of developers; delivered timely, and on budget
· Manage the development and support resources
· Act as primary resource for managing the organization's IT resources including on-site and cloud-based IT server infrastructure
· Provide strategy, planning and coordination of all software development and/or implementation activities.
· Provide direct support and development backup to the development team
· Develop, implement, and maintain corporate information and security policies
· Work directly with the IT support help-desk and other areas of IT.
· Lead customer technical meetings and respond to technical and security related questions

Minimum education/training required:
· At least 3 years of experience leading IT development teams
· At least 10 years of total IT experience
· A bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent
· Expert in ASP.NET (C# Experience) and Microsoft SQL Server including debugging and troubleshooting code.
· Proficient in Microsoft Power Platforms
· Proficient TFS, DevOps or Jira
· Some level of familiarity with git source control is desirable.
· Change management and code deployment systems.
· Experience in applying project management principles via formal methodology, using the associated tools and techniques
· Sound customer relations skills and the ability to work with demanding clients
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
