General Summary:
The .Net Senior Developer is primarily working in the portal environment and its integration to various application systems. The responsibilities include planning and supporting of strategic objectives by aligning with business requirements as defined by the management team. Specific responsibilities include following existing standards, establishing new standards for development, configuration, usage, system reliability, availability, and monitoring. The candidate is responsible for the applications support as well as research, recommendation, and implementation of new technologies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements, effort estimation, and develop technical specifications. Designs, develops, and maintains enterprise-wide Web, Windows/SharePoint based solutions utilizing the Microsoft .NET Framework Designs and develops User-Interfaces utilizing JavaScript, JSON, Angular, and REST API. Understands software life-cycle management, data modeling, Business Process Modeling, and system testing. Understands the concept of responsive design for User Interfaces Develops and executes unit, integration, and User Acceptance Tests. Responsible to implement solution in production environment and support after go live. Education, Experience, Certification and/or Licensure:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, or other related field required. Minimum 8 years of experience with .NET, and other similar technologies. Experience in working with integration technologies such as SOAP, REST, and Messaging (MQ, MSMQ) is desired. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong .NET development skills utilizing C# and Object Oriented Programming Strong experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and various tools used for development in Windows environment. Business requirement analysis skills desired. Strong de-bugging and performance enhancement skills required. Strong skills in source code management, including versioning, labeling, branching, and merging of source code; knowledge of Team Foundation Services and GIT a plus. Experience in developing .NET applications with Oracle, SQL Server, and other data sources. Experience in Java Development is a plus. Experience in enterprise integration (WCF, Web API, MQ, etc.) preferred. Working knowledge of key solutions technologies including ASP.NET, JavaScript, Angular, Web API, SharePoint, SQL Server is desired. Knowledge of Unit, Integration, and User Acceptance Test Methodology required. Software Development knowledge for Mobile Devices is a plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Must be able to work independently and with teams. Familiarity with ITIL or other service based IT framework for organizing service activities is a plus.
