Job Description: THE MANAGER IS LOOKING FOR BOTH LEVEL 1 & LEVEL 2 SHIPPING/RECEIVING ASSISTANTS. THE MANAGER WILL DECIDE, BASED ON YOUR CANDIDATE'S EXPERIENCE WHICH LEVEL THEY QUALFIY FOR.
LEVEL 1 PAY RATE RANGE IS: #####7 - #####0
LEVEL 2 PAY RATE RANGE IS: #####1 - #####3

*******CANDIDATES WILL TRAIN ON THE 1ST SHIFT (7AM - 3:30PM) AND WILL BE MOVED TO 2ND SHIFT (3PM - 11:30PM) AFTER TRAINING*******

Job Description - Shipping/Receiving Assistant - Level 1
Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; may work out of a central warehouse.
Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting.
Follows shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements.
Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment.
(Un)packs or (un)wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc.
Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications.
Logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents.
Reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations.
Previous Shipping/Receiving experience is highly preferred.
BS Degree is Not Required.
Hourly Pay Rate Range #####7 - #####0 based on the candidates previous experience.

Job Description - Shipping/Receiving Assistant - Level 2
Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; may work out of a central warehouse.
Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting.
SAP or Solumina software experience required.
Has good teamwork, communication skills and leadership ability.
Can work alone with little/no supervision. Proactive in getting tasks done, self-motivated.
Forklift experience and certified.
Familiar with transportation and storage of hazardous material
Experience working with DoD applications and websites
Familiar with and follows DoD shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements.
Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment.
(Un)packs or (un)wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc.
Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications.
Logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents.
Reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations.
