Structural Analysis Stress Engineer- 53199

Description:
We have an Excellent Contract position for a Structural Analysis-Stress/DADT/Dynamics/FEA/FEM to join a leading Company located in the Palmdale, CA surrounding area.

Job Responsibilities:
Uses computational methods and tools in a specialized field (strength of metallic and composite structures, finite element analysis, fatigue and damage tolerance, etc.).
Performs pre-dimensioning computations by implementing analytical or digital computation methods and pass judgement on the credibility of the data received and the results obtained.
Take part in drawing up the measurement plan applicable to the tests, and analyses the results.
Required experience with structural mechanics simulation software including NASTRAN, PATRAN.
Must know UNIX.
Familiarity and experience with other related tools such as CATIA V5 or Siemens NX desired.
Must have knowledge and experience applying skills, tools, and judgment to the field of aircraft primary structure design.
Candidate must be capable of interpreting detail, assembly, and installation type drawings.

Required Minimum skills:
Airframe primary structure layout and sizing
Hand analysis of aerospace structures
NASTRAN and PATRAN
UNIX user experience
Active Secret Required with an Investigation within last 5 years.
