PDS Tech is looking for a Structural Analysis Engineer

Location: Everett, WA 98204
Type: Full-time, 6-Month Consultant
Schedule: Monday - Friday, First Shift
Compensation: $59.75 - $69.11

Overview
Join our team on a provisional/short-term basis with the opportunity to become a direct aerospace employee before the contract's end. As a consultant, engaging actively in the direct hiring process and securing a direct offer is essential for employment continuation beyond 6 months. This position does not allow contract extensions.

Role
You will conduct foundational structural analysis employing specified tools to define structural environments, characteristics, and performance. Your role includes supporting testing, analyzing and reporting results to ensure systems and components meet strict requirements and specifications. Additionally, you will document certification and test outcomes to affirm compliance with customer and regulatory standards and assist in-service products by evaluating failures and proposing enhancements. This position requires working under general oversight.

Location: 100% onsite in Everett or Renton, WA.
Requirements: Must be a US Person.

Education and Experience

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Civil Engineering, or related fields, with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree in Engineering. ABET accreditation preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Fatigue, Damage Tolerance, Finite Element Analysis.

• Skilled in applying free body diagrams and calculations.

• Experienced in CAD software, especially with: CATIA, PDM/ENOVIA.

• Knowledge in stress analysis review, integration with suppliers and international teams.

• Background in analyzing structural aspects of commercial airplanes, including Wing/Fuselage, Doors/Windows/Landing Gear, Flight controls, Mechanical Hydraulics, High lift, Electrical, and ECS system installations.
