Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer

Description:
Job: Electronic System Design & Analysis Engineer
Location: Berkeley, MO
Duration: 12 Months Contract

Leads work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements. Leads and coordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications. Leads work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements. Oversees the team that monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements. Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle. Research technology advances for potential application to company business needs. Makes recommendations for technology investments. Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
· Currently possess a Bachelor's, Master's or Doctor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
· 3+ years’ experience in an electrical engineering role

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
· 3+ years’ experience in design, integration, and test of electrical systems
· 2+ years’ experience in avionics, electrical, and/or a mission systems role
· 2+ years’ experience developing or integrating avionics or mission systems
· Experience in Agile Software Development and JIRA
· Experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
