In partnership with an industry leading aviation/aerospace organization in Redmond, PDS is looking to add dedicated control panel assemblers to our team.

• Pay: $24 - $27.60/hour

• Shift: 1st shift and 2nd shift available

As a Control Panel Assembly Technician, you will provide service and repairs of mechanical, electronic, and other equipment requiring technical knowledge, effective diagnostic and repair techniques and procedures related to a wide variety of equipment.

Job duties include (but not limited to):

• Perform skilled technician work involving diagnosis, replacement, repair, and rebuilding of a variety of equipment, components and/or systems.

• Use diagnostic equipment and a variety of tools specific to the trade.

• Proficient in understanding technical manuals such as blueprints, CMMs, customer POs, manufacturer’s data, and repair instruction sheets.

• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and component schematics to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.

• Basic soldering and wiring tasks (circuit board repair such as surface mount and through-hole soldering for our avionics section) and has a good understanding of corrosion control methods and remedies.

 Qualified candidates should possess:

• 2+ years electrical/mechanical assembly experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical devices such as small electrical motors and actuators, mechanical and pneumatic valves, and AC/DC lighting systems (Computer hardware, circuit boards, microchips, and basic programming for our avionics section).

• Familiarity with inspection methods, techniques, practices, visual aids, equipment, and tools
