Export Classification Specialist

Description:
A Export Classification Specialist position is currently available at Belcan in Cincinnati, OH. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits and can be supported remotely after training. Great matching candidates will have experience with US Department of State and US Department of Commerce Export Regulations and a technical background of a minimum of 2 years' turbomachinery experience. A Bachelor in Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent is desired.

Export Classification Specialist position duties:
* Determine correct Export Jurisdiction and Classification of hardware and technical data
* Interface with customers to define project requirements and deliverables
* Drive the successful execution of projects and report results to Belcan and customer leadership
* Communicate with our customer regularly and effectively
* Desire to work as part of a collaborative team

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical Engineering or similar
* Experience in determining export classifications
* 2 years' experience working with turbomachinery
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
* US citizenship required

Desired but not required skills:
* Experience outside of design in other functions such as technology development, manufacturing, and/or repair development
