Remote Principal Semiconductor Engineer

Description:
I am seeking a remote Principal Semiconductor Engineer to support a client in Clearwater, FL.

Key Responsibilities:
Verifies FPGA products and makes improvements to existing Aerospace products using System Verilog and Universal Verification Methodology (UVM).

Candidate should be capable of developing verification testbench architecture & design, verification test cases, simulation testbench coding, testbench procedures and tracing, simulation analysis, and verification results documentation.
May oversee the work of other verification engineers.
Works with other members of the engineering staff to ensure that design/verification is completed in a timely manner.

Prerequisites:
Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty (Electrical or Computer Engineering)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
US Citizenship required ; no dual citizenship and must be in continental USA
Prefer a knowledge of VHDL and/or Verilog, design tools for Xilinx and/or Microsemi, MBA, PCI, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, OS Linux, scripting languages Perl, Shell, and TCL
DO-254 experience is a plus
Good communication skills (verbal and written).
Self-starter, motivated and takes initiative and able to work independently.
Strong technical problem-solving skills.
