Description:
Seeking an early-career Electrical Wire Design and Installation Engineer to support International Air force customers in Oklahoma City, OK.
The candidate will provide engineering, such as Design modifications for electrical designs and/or installs for a team supporting military programs such as UK E-7, Saudi Arabia, and India.
Early-Career Level: Candidate is expected to have the technical competence to learn how to work on Engineering design changes under the direction of an experienced EE.
Job Description: Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs. Supports analysis and design reviews. Develops and maintains electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas).Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests). Follows documented processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities. Supports the development of statements of work. Assists in the technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection. Analyzes functional and physical input used in the development of integrated design and system architecture. Works under general supervision.
Can work remote - Do not need to be local to OKC - BUT will need to travel to OKC at own expense for at least 2 weeks for training.
Could also be required to be onsite to support emergent tasking at any time as well - at own expense.

Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for understanding and implementing technical standards of cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs.
Implement electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs.
Work with lead and team to analyze complex results and performs design reviews.
Provide engineering design disposition on discrepancies.
Independently utilize processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.
Support the technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection.
Ability to adjust priorities to multiple demands and unanticipated events.
Highly motivated and must work well in a team environment.
The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
This position is expected to last a minimum of 6 months and can be worked remotely

| Skills: | Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. |
