Electrical Engineer / Project Manager

Description:
The ideal candidate will conduct high complexity Engineering Management and Project Management for technical process improvement projects.

Responsibilities include developing productivity tools, managing documentation and tracking schedules.

This position is for a Project Engineering professional with deep knowledge and highly developed technical expertise.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Lead or support assigned IPD team (s)
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for small to mid-size projects and suggests appropriate adjustments to ensure adherence to the established project plan, schedule, and budget.
• Responsible to the assigned project execution on scheduled and cost utilizing EVMS processes and principles.
• Manage all program risks and opportunities
• Record and document delays, changes in scope, and any other incidents that impact the scope of work or schedule to ensure smooth project operations.
• Pursue all cost saving opportunities to maximize project profitability.
• Perform critical path analysis and prepare and implement work-around plans to ensure the successful completion of projects.
• Conduct meetings, consolidate, and present plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s).
• Ensure timely communication of program status, emerging issues, etc.
• Identify and react to project problems and recommend solutions, such as reallocating resources or changing contractual specifications.
• Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion.
• Oversee and coordinate the administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines.
• Liaise between project management and planning, project teams, and line management.
• Coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
• Review the project and budget status, manage schedule and prepare reports.
• Monitor and assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Represent as the primary customer contact for projects.
• Direct the work of employees assigned on projects in technical manufacturing and administrative areas.
• Establish design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test.
• Meet program schedules and budgets and maintain the integrated master schedules for project(s).

Education
This position requires a Bachelors’ degree in Electrical Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
