Entry Level Mechanical Engineer

Description:
*This is a full time, 1 year, contract position located in Elgin, OK*

We are seeking an entry level, six month contract to hire Mechanical Engineer who will create designs and solid models for components that will go into mobile military such as missile launchers, self propelled wheeled vehicles (like Howitzers, M99s), etc.

Day to day work will be designing using CREO. Candidate will work with test engineering develop the components or structures, create the 3D solid model and detail the models in 2D drawings.

Required:
*2 years’ experience in working with CAD packages, preferably CREO or similar tool.
*Familiar with tolerance analysis and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

*Ability to create / interpret detail, assembly, and installation type drawings
*Experience working in a manufacturing/plant environment
*US Citizens only please
*4 year Mechanical Engineering degree

Pluses:
*Experience working with vehicles (military is preferred)
*Experience using mechanical measuring devices

*CREO experience
